The Redditch Arrows fell to their third straight defeat losing 35-0 at Chester Romans, A small Arrows squad was further hampered by early
injuries to key players David Mills, Andy Stuteley and Martin Hill. This forced the Arrows in having to play many players out of position, a situation which the Romans soon exploited.
The Romans scored twice in the first half on short yardage runs to go into the half with a comfortable 14-0 lead.
The Arrows responded in the 3rd quarter when following a fine 60 yard drive the Arrows found themselves facing 1st and goal on the Romans 3 yard
line, The Arrows failed to capitalise on this when they were called for a 5 yard delay of game penalty which gave the advantage back to the home team and finally forced the Arrows to turn the ball over.
The remainder of the game saw the Romans take control and run in 3 further rushing touchdowns for a commanding 35- 0 win..
This was a disappointing performance from the Arrows who failed to play to the standard that they had the previous two games.
