The Arrows fell to their 6th defeat of the season in a poor performance against Gateshead Senators. The Arrows started brightly and had the opportunity to open the scoring only to see penalties call back a 10yard rushing TD. This failure was rubbed in when on the next play Gateshead went 70 yards down the sideline for the opening score. The Arrows problems were further deepened when a bad snap caused them to give up a safety and give the Senators a 10-0 lead. The Arrows then gave up another 2 yard rushing TD just before the half to go in 17-0 down.
Where the first half had seen the Arrows play some promising football, the second half belonged entirely to Gateshead who ran in 3 further TD's
for a comfortable 40-0 win on a 10 yard pass, 1 yd rush and a 1 yard pass.
