The Redditch Arrows made the long trip south to take on Plymouth Admirals and came away with a well deserved 32-13 victory. This win
gives the Arrows a 2 win 3 defeat record going into the second half of the season.
The Arrows took control early on when after forcing Plymouth to punt on their opening drive, moved up-field to the 22yard line only
to see an intercepted returned by the home side for a 7-0 lead. This initial setup however was overcome when Arrows RB Anthony Perkins went in from 20 yards to tie up the score at 7-7.
The Arrows, making the most of an effective running game then went in again from 7yards on a Dave Mills run for a 14-7 lead.
The 2nd quarter saw Plymouth come back into the game and reduce the lead to 14-13 only for the Arrows to re-establish their grip on the game with Perkins again finding the end-zone from 6yards for a 20-13 half time score-line.
The second half saw the Arrows begin to open up on offense with completed the scoring in the 4th quarter when Toby Rhodes scored twice, the first on a 5 yard rush, the second on a 6 yard run at the end of a fine 80 yard drive.
