The Redditch Arrows crashed to their worst defeat of the season in a 34-0 loss at home to South Wales Warriors. The Arrows hoping to build on last
weeks win against Plymouth had no answers to the Warriors offensive gameplan and have now finished the season with a 4 wins and 6 losses record.
The Warriors opened the scoring early in the first half when they drove 65 yards culminating in a 7 yard TD reception for an 8-0 lead. On the
next possession the Arrows responded and put together their own long drive only to see them come up short on the visitors 15 yard line.
South Wales put themselves firmly in control on the opening play of the second quarter when they increased the lead to 14-0 on a 57 yard run. The
Arrows struggling to get back into the game were fortunate to be given the ball at on the half way line when the Warriors punter's knee hit the ground. Despite putting together a drive they could not
find the end-zone and on fourth down from the 2 yard line with seconds left in the half failed to make the all important breakthrough.
The second half saw South Wales take control and they started to go to the air more than they had in the first half. A 4 yard run
increased the lead to 22-0 and 2 completions for 35 and 45 yards for scores completed the rout
