The Arrows continued their winning ways with a comfortable 20-6 win over the improving Plymouth Adnirals.
The game started with both teams having difficulty in moving the ball. On their second possession the Arrows broke
free on a 30 yard Anthony Perkins run only to turn the ball over on the next play on a fumble. The quarter ended with the Arrows on the Admirals 10 yard line.
The second quarter saw the Arrows capitalise on this field position when Perkins twice carried and went in from the
5 to give the Arrows a 7-0 lead. On their next possession the Arrows put themselves firmly in the driving seat when Perkins again went in for a score on a sensational 71 yard run in which he
was untouched thanks to great blocking from the Arrows offensive line. A successful PAT from Jon Riddell gave the home team a 14-0 lead.
The third quarter again saw the Arrows defense stopping the Admirals from making any real yardage. With the Arrows
offense having the majority of the possession they finally increased the lead on a 20 yard Perkins touchdown.
The fourth quarter saw the Admirals begin to make some gains and their long trip north was rewarded when the reduced
the home teams lead to 20-6 on a 23 yard pass.
