The 1990 season saw the success experienced in 89 continue with another regional championship. The
pre-season saw two victories against Stourbridge and a revenge win over Swansea who had beaten the Arrows in their season back in 86. The regular season saw the Arrows go undefeated for the first
time ever with 9 wins and a tie. The Tie came in a 26-26 cliff-hanger against local and bitter rivals Wolverhampton. The game could have been won in the last few minutes but the Arrows were denied a
winning field goal opportunity due to an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty putting them out of range. What made this even more disappointing was that after the game the officials admitted that this
had been a bad call. The best performances of the season saw the Arrows win 50-0 away at Stockport, 3 victories over Chester and Wolverhampton beaten 12-0 in Wolverhampton. In the play-offs the
Arrows were visited by Clydesdale Colts. Despite a long journey the Scottish team proved to be far too strong for the Arrows and ran out comfortable 40-6 winners.
