1993 saw the Arrows reformed as was intended in 1992. The majority of players returned and coupled with some new faces gave
the Arrows a respectful sized squad. The club was placed in Division 3 of the newly formed British National Gridiron League. Pre-season saw the staging of the County Bowl with another victory over
Hereford. The Regular season saw the Arrows post a fine 9 wins and 1 loss record to achieve yet another regional championship. This success justified the faith shown by all in the club and went
a long way to eradicate the disappointment of 92. The season itself was highlighted by the win at F14 Tomcats in Oxford where the Arrows snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. With 20 seconds
remaining the Arrows , down 16-14 were faced with a 4th and 15 from their own 35yd line. No one at that time could anticipate that the Arrows would snatch victory but a sensational 65 yd pass from
Dave Stanton to Steve Harris provided the needed points. The playoffs saw the Arrows host Cambridge in a bizarre game totally devoid of any type of defense and which saw the Arrows lose 52-40. It
appeared that every time each team got the ball they scored and had the game gone on a few more minutes then it is likely that the Arrows could have snatched a result, but unfortunately time was against
them.
