For the 2006 season the Arrows organisation are teaming up with the
National Blood Service to support them as their nominated charity. The Arrows organisation recognise that there is an opportunity to publicise a worthwhile cause, due to the nature i.e.
glamour and notoriety of the sport that we participate in. Our colour scheme at the Arrows lends itself perfectly to that of the National Blood Service, we are sure that both organisation
will gain benefit from the exposure that a partnership will bring for example an increase in awareness and donators.
Three Arrows players rolled up their sleeves to give blood in
support of National Blood Service. Toby Rhodes, Alan Harris and Adam Talbot are pictured giving blood at their local session in St Lukes Memorial Hall, Headless Cross, Redditch.
Toby Rhodes, Treasurer and player for Redditch Arrows says: "We thought we'd
practise what we preach and give a pint of blood, to show that anyone can do it. Even though we're all busy working, training and playing, we want to show people that you can still make time
to help save lives."
